LANG 330 Ojibwe Grammar Patterns and Sentence Structure

In this course, focus will be on learning the Ojibwe language through understanding Ojibwe grammar patterns and sentence structure. Attention will be given on the different verb forms; verbs that are transitive and animate (VTA), verbs that are animate and intransitive (VAI), verbs that are inanimate and intransitive (VTI), and verbs that are inanimate and intransitive (VII). Conjugations of these verbs will be evaluated in general terms. Grammar patterns will be understood through question and answer format where verbs can be exchanged along with sentence structure such as subject-verb agreement.
