ART 270 Printmaking
Introduces basic printmaking processes, techniques, and concepts while addressing historical and contemporary issues. Develops an introductory level of creative problem solving and terminology of screen printing, monoprints, relief and basic intaglio processes. Includes critiques, discussions, and presentations to establish critical skills necessary to evaluate prints, explore artistic intent, examine aesthetic and structural solutions, and expand perceptual awareness. May be taken 3 times for credit.
