PSY-3220 Research in Experimental Psychology

This course provides an introduction to research design in the psychological sciences with an emphasis on the suitability of different research methods and their respective strengths and limitations. Students will engage in the research process within the context of writing a research report. Students will critically evaluate psychological research, interpret reported findings, and learn about ethical issues involved with planning and conducting a research investigation. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with a broad overview of research design and methodology.
