The Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Healthcare Management program is designed for individuals who wish to work or are currently working in responsible management positions in a wide variety of medical and healthcare institutions.
The 36-credit program presents a practitioner-focused curriculum that includes critical knowledge, competencies, and skills necessary to lead and work effectively in the core business sectors within the healthcare industry. Students will acquire current skills in key healthcare management domains including finance, leadership, human capital management, technology, quality improvement, and strategy that are critical variables in establishing, managing and leading a successful healthcare organization.
Students will develop and demonstrate critical reasoning, data-driven decision-making, and process improvement that will enable them to contribute to the growth, quality, and evolution of the rapidly growing healthcare industry. Program content presents strategic and current models of healthcare management, provides the evolutionary content, and critical analysis of the leading healthcare models. In addition, the content examines the application and interconnection of course learnings in the healthcare industry.

NOTE:
Courses not offered by the School of Business and Management must be approved by the dean prior to enrolling in the course. Students have the option to develop graduate prior learning assessment (PLA) portfolios and/or transfer graduate credits from other institutionally accredited institutions recognized under the TESU Transfer Credit Policy and Guidelines and/or apply credits recommended by the American Council on Education (ACE) and National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS). The dean must approve all PLA portfolio requests and transfer credit.

The maximum core course credit a student may transfer into the Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Healthcare Management program is 12 credits.
