NUR-7074 Adolescent and Early Adult Primary Care
This course examines the health of adolescents and early adults ages 12–39, covering developmental, biophysical, and psychosocial transitions. Students utilize an evidence-based approach to primary care management, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and chronic condition management. Emphasis is placed on the family nurse practitioner’s role in leading collaborative teams, advocating for collective well-being, and preparing systems for public health emergencies within the community context.
