The Master of Science (MS) degree program with an area of study in Nuclear Energy Technology Management prepares working professionals for technology specialist and management careers in the nuclear energy sector. The 36-credit program is offered completely online and is designed for working professionals in the nuclear energy industry who are interested in professional advancement.
The program can be completed in less than two years on a part-time basis and without the need for students to sacrifice their professional and personal responsibilities. Online courses are delivered asynchronously, so students can access and complete their assignments on their own schedule and set their own pace.
Graduates will develop a deep understanding of human performance improvement, atmospheric dispersion of radioisotopes and critical safety, and examine case studies of current issues, such as the Fukushima disaster, to understand best-practices and lessons learned from these events.
