Program Description

The NCCER Shielded Metal Arc Welding certificate program prepares students for careers in the welding industry. This certificate emphasizes instruction in shielded metal arc welding in the overhead, horizontal, and vertical positions.

Admission Requirements

  • Submit completed application and application fee
  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED are NOT required
