Program Description

The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies allows customization of the program of study based on each student’s academic and professional goals. The degree requires completion of 61 semester credit hours (21 hours of general education requirements and 40 hours distributed among one or more tracks). Available tracks include (1) business / computer information systems, (2) health sciences, (3) technical / industrial and professional services, and (4) general education. The program curriculum may be strategically selected to build upon the student’s goals and objectives. Learning opportunities develop academic and professional knowledge and skills required for job acquisition or continued education. A student might choose an interdisciplinary studies program if his or her specific goals and interests cannot be met through existing degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

Admission Requirements

  • Submit completed application and application fee
  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Submit official high school transcript or GED transcript with test scores and ALL post-secondary transcripts in an official sealed envelope
  • Meet assessment requirements
