EQ 213 Facilities and Farm Equipment Operations and Management II

A study of facilities maintenance, to include fencing, gate and hydrant installation and repair. Medium-duty trucks and trailers related to use on an equine operation and travel to outside facilities. Emphasis will be on basic truck and trailer operations, repair, maintenance, and adjustment for safe and efficient operation and use. Current truck and trailer laws will be addressed in this course. Truck and trailer buying basics will be covered.

This course will require arranged practice time outside of allotted class time. Students are required to have a valid driver's license. Two-one hour lectures and one two-hour lab per week.
