EQ 347 Restraint and Handling Techniques for Pre-veterinary Students

Emphasizes safe handling and restraint techniques used in the care and treatment of horses. Students will practice a variety of restraining and calming methods designed to allow treatment of the horse while minimizing risk of injury to it and to the caretaker. This course also covers handling restraint of feline, canine, alpacas, bovine, swine, and exotic animals.
