MOT 1084 Billing Specialist Internship
Provides supervised placement in a contracted facility for guided experience and application of knowledge and skill acquired in the classroom. The student assists with a variety of business and billing procedures.
NOTE: Capstone class MOT 2089 can be substituted for Internship ONLY if a site is unavailable and is required for completion of Program.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of Medical Billing program requirements with a grade of C or higher in classes and all competencies passed. Students must have a completed background check, drug screen, health check, and permission of internship coordinator to begin internship. Internship site availability may be limited thus limiting availability for students to take this course
