Director, Early Childhood Education Certificate
Completing this program prepares you for administrative positions in early childhood care and education programs. Upon completion of these classes, you will have met the academic requirements for an Early Childhood Director qualifications as stated in CDHS 7.702.42 A4 regulations. Upon completion of this certificate you will have also met the academic requirements for the Early Childhood Entry, Early Childhood Teacher I and Teacher II certificates.
In addition to the academic requirements, the Colorado Department of Human Services requires 24 months (3,640 hours) of verifiable work experience working directly with children in a child development program for individuals who have completed this certificate but don not possess a degree.
