Articulation Agreements
A collaborative program between Perry Technical Institute and Yakima Valley College provides students with the opportunity to earn an Associate of Applied Science in three technical areas:
- Instrumentation, Automation & Robotics Technology
- Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Technology
- Electrical Technology
An Associate of Applied Science along with the technical program allows students to work more effectively in their chosen field and to help them compete for advanced opportunities. In addition to completing their program at Perry Technical Institute, students complete credits at Yakima Valley College. Credits are designated as core requirements and are required for all programs.
Upon acceptance into one of these three certificate programs at Perry, students may begin taking required classes at Yakima Valley College to complete their AAS degree. This can be done while waiting for entrance into the technical portion of their degree (prior to starting classes at Perry), while they complete the technical training at Perry, or after they complete their technical training.
