POS 3201 COMPARATIVE GOVERNMENT
Comparative Government, or Comparative Politics, is concerned with the varying historical background, traditions, ideologies, stages of development, political, social, and economic problems of different states. Emphasis is placed upon the political institutions and the political processes of both Western and non-western nations. It is hoped that the student will have some background in history or politics. Particular emphasis in the course will be placed on European, Asian, and African nations.
