HSR 3250 HEALTH ADMINISTRATION II: HEALTH INSURANCE MODELS AND BILLING
Students will learn the various concrete systems of health insurance and become familiar with the history of health insurance debates. They will be able to help their patient clients navigate the insurance system, both to choose from insurance options and to facilitate insurance coverage. Students will learn the necessary skills in terminology, billing and coding to be able to assist patients in their interactions with their insurance companies.
