ED 3551 IEP AND TRANSITION PLANNING

The focus of the course is developing individual educational programs (IEPs) that are defensible and that conform with NYS Part 200 Regulations for Students with Disabilities. As part of this process, candidates will demonstrate knowledge of state regulations regarding transition planning and will learn to apply this knowledge to preparing IEPs that include appropriate transition assessment, measurable post-secondary goals, and transition activities.
