ART 1600 2-D DESIGN FUNDAMENTALS

This introductory studio course addresses visual dynamics on the 2-D picture plane, including line, shape, texture, space and color. Through the design process, students explore visual elements and principles of organization. Using a variety of media, projects incorporate technical skills from idea generation through development to actual presentation.
