Accounting, BS (Non-CPA Track Program)
The non-CPA track degree in accounting is designed to provide training in the fundamentals of accounting so that students may understand the financial dynamics of a business. It provides a sequence of specialized instruction in financial, managerial and cost accounting, as well as in auditing, and taxation.
Mount Saint Mary College has received specialized accreditation for its business programs, including the major in accounting through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), Olathe, Kansas. IACBE is the premier business accreditation body for business program in student-centered colleges and universities throughout the world. The IACBE accredits business degree programs at more than 225 colleges and universities in more than 20 countries. IACBE promotes and recognizes excellence in business education in colleges at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
A concentration in sports management is also available in this major.
