NUR 3001 NURSING RESEARCH FOR EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICE

This course will focus on the professional nurse’s role in drug therapy. The emphasis will be on principles of drug administration, drug regulation/legislation, major drug classifications, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Alternative and complementary modalities are explored. Included in this course are cultural and ethical considerations as well as current issues related to drug therapy. This course requires 5 to 10 clinical hours.
