HIS 4170 THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

This course seeks to examine the causes of the American Revolution and its results. The course begins with the French and Indian War, examines the series of events leading up to the Declaration of Independence, and analyzes in depth the political, military and social characteristics of the War of Independence, concluding with a review of the forms of government and social and economic changes that resulted from the Revolution. Prerequisite: 3 Credits in History
