Non-matriculated Students
Individuals who do not wish to become candidates for a degree from Mount Saint Mary College, but who wish to enroll in certain courses may be admitted as non-matriculated students. A non-matriculated student may become a candidate for a degree only upon application and acceptance for admission or after completing 24 credits in the following areas:
• 6 credits of English
• 6 credits of Mathematics
• 3 credits of Natural Science
• 3 credits of Social Science
• 3 credits of Fine Arts (humanities)
• 3 credits of Career/Technical (to be determined).
Candidates who do not meet the requirement of 2.5 Grade Point Average or better, may petition the Academic Standards Committee. Non-matriculated students are not eligible for financial aid.
