Cybersecurity- Certificate

The Certificate in cybersecurity is designed to prepare degree and non-degree seeking students with the necessary knowledge and skills to seek entry level jobs in Cybersecurity. The 18-credit Certificate provides the theoretical background and hands-on experience to understand the principles of cybersecurity, cybersecurity risk and management, cryptography, and network security. Additionally, students learn necessary programming skills using a modern programming language. Upon successful completion, students will be able to apply for entry level cybersecurity positions, as well as be prepared to sit for the Computing Technology Industry Association’s (CompTIA) Security+ examination.
