MAT 097 Intermediate Algebra Support
This course is designed for students who have a background in elementary algebra and should be taken along with
MAT 105 or
MAT 120 as supplemental instruction. Topics include solving systems of linear equations, properties of exponents, scientific notation, polynomials, factoring polynomials, rational expressions, and rational exponents and radicals.
Prerequisite
MAT 084 or
MAT 093 or Qualifying Score on the Math Placement Test.
