MAT 083 Elementary Algebra-Part I
This is the first of two courses designed for students who have not completed high school algebra, students who need a review of elementary algebra and students who have had previous difficulty with the subject. Topics include operations with real numbers, simplifying algebraic expressions, solving linear equations, and related applications. Competence in arithmetic skills is required. Lecture two hours per week.
