NUR 150 Pharmacology
Presents the physiological and psychological alterations produced by specific drugs. The theory presented will increase the nurse’s knowledge of name, classification, administration, counter indication, side effects, adverse reactions, interactions and predictable outcomes of specific drugs. Nursing implications associated with drugs will be presented, as well as the ethical and legal issues and responsibilities associated with the administration of medications
Prerequisite
BIO 103, BIO 104 and acceptance into Nursing program.
