CHM 106 General Chemistry II
A continuation of
CHM 105, this course emphasizes solution chemistry, including acids and bases. It investigates rates and mechanisms of various equilibria in lectures and the laboratory. Also considered are complexions, colloids and nuclear chemistry. Students are presented with an overview of classical qualitative analysis with some fundamentals of instrumental analysis through laboratory experiences. Lecture four hours, laboratory three hours per week.
