RES 4260 Respiratory Care Therapeutics III
Mechanical ventilation techniques, including advanced concepts in adult mechanical ventilators, transport and homecare; overview of advanced mechanical ventilation techniques and modes. Other advanced therapies and procedures in Respiratory care will be included. Introduction to Polysomnography, designed to provide entry-level didactic training in sleep technology, along with EKG lead placement will be included topics. Class will meet for a minimum of 3 hours lecture and 2 hours laboratory each week.
