ESL 1060 English Language Skills for Academic Writing II
(also ENG 1060)
This course prepares ESL students for college-level writing. Emphasis will be on organization, accuracy, and style of formal academic writing. Students will write multiple drafts of essays covering a variety of genres. By the end of the course, students will be able to write well-organized and well-developed essays using a variety of sentence structures and college-level vocabulary. A minimum grade of "C" or better is required. (Does not satisfy general education.)
