BIO 1270 General Biology II
A continuation of BIO 1260. Includes basic mechanisms of evolution and biological diversity, principles of organ systems in plants and animals and an introduction to ecology. Three lecture hours and three lab hours per week. (Required for Biology Majors)

Minimum of 26 on the Reading subscore of the EBRW section of the SAT Exam or a 20 on the reading section of the ACT is required to enter this course or completion of ENG 0900 or ENG 1010 with a "C" or better, as well as high school biology
