Program Learning Outcomes

Students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge related to the discipline of marketing.
  • Analyze and evaluate information or a situation to form a judgment.
  • Use written and oral communication skills effectively to deliver professional reports and presentations.
  • Integrate ethical concepts as they apply to business decisions.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative skills as they relate to the discipline of marketing.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of organizational theory as it applies to decision-making and leadership.

Requirements

A maximum of twelve (12) graduate credits but no less than six (6) graduate credits may be taken towards these undergraduate credits depending on individualized transcripts and advisement.

Only these courses may be used as part of the total credits for the bachelor's degree. Dual degree students must be awarded a bachelor's degree prior to being formally accepted into the MBA program of study.

Electives (9-15 Credits)

One Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) credit for a B.S. degree is needed. FST 1000 counts as towards LAS Electives Requirement.

Electives needed can be adjusted for the optional six credits of BUS 5000-level Degree Electives.

(Adjust Electives needed for having a Minor(s), Remedials, ESL, Honors Programs, PED/FST waivers as needed, under consultation with advisor.)

A minimum grade of "B-" is required for 5000-level courses. A course in which the student receives a grade below a "B-" will not apply towards the MBA. The minimum Molloy standard cannot be waived.
