Requirements for School of Business Majors

Accounting Majors (FIAMI): Complete CIS 1050, MAT 1150B (MAT 1150A can be applied), ACC 2600, BUS 3430 and FIN 3500. The Accounting Major and its Related requirements meet 15 credits of this Finance Minor requirements. Take one additional FIN course (FIN 3800, FIN 3810, FIN 3830, FIN 3840, FIN 3870, FIN 3880, FIN 3890 or FIN 4030). (3 Credits Total)

Entertainment and Sports Management Majors (FISMI): Complete CIS 1050, MAT 1150B (MAT 1150A can be applied), ACC 2600, BUS 3430 and FIN 3500. The Entertainment and Sports Management Major and its Related requirements meet 15 credits of this Finance Minor requirements. Take one additional FIN course (FIN 3800, FIN 3810, FIN 3830, FIN 3840, FIN 3870, FIN 3880, FIN 3890 or FIN 4030). (3 Credits Total)

Economics Majors (FIEMI): Complete CIS 1050, MAT 1150B (MAT 1150A can be applied), ACC 2600 and BUS 3430 and FIN 3500. The Economics Major and its Related requirements meet 12 credits of this Finance Minor requirements. Two additional courses in FIN are needed: FIN 3500 and one additional FIN course (FIN 3800, FIN 3810, FIN 3830, FIN 3840, FIN 3870, FIN 3880, FIN 3890 or FIN 4030). Note, that the Economics Major requires 3 credits and if the FIN courses listed are taken, one of the FIN courses can apply to both the Major and Minor. (3-6 Credits Total) 

Management Majors FIBMI): Complete CIS 1050, MAT 1150B (MAT 1150A can be applied), ACC 2600, BUS 3430 and FIN 3500. The Management Major and its Related requirements meet 15 credits of this Finance Minor requirements. Take one additional FIN course (FIN 3800, FIN 3810, FIN 3830, FIN 3840, FIN 3870, FIN 3880, FIN 3890or FIN 4030). This additional course cannot be used for any of the Major requirements for Management. (3 Credits Total)

Marketing Majors (FIMMI): Complete CIS 1050, MAT 1150B (MAT 1150A can be applied), ACC 2600, BUS 3430 and FIN 3500. The Marketing Major and its Related requirements meet 15 credits of this Finance Minor requirements. Take one additional FIN course (FIN 3800, FIN 3810, FIN 3830, FIN 3840, FIN 3870, FIN 3880,  FIN 3890 or FIN 4030). (3 Credits Total)
