ECO 2000 Introductory Economics
(formerly ECO 200; ECO 100)
The primary goal of the course is to produce better informed citizens. After studying introductory economics, students can better comprehend the news they hear, can make better decisions as they go about their lives, and can make better choices when they enter the voting booth. In addition to the basic principles of economics, students will be exposed to both macro- and microeconomics. This course may not be taken for degree credit by students required to take or who have taken macro- and/or microeconomics.
