Grading Policy and Repeats in the CMHC Program
A grade of "B-" is the lowest acceptable grade toward degree requirements in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program. The following rules apply:
- A course in which the student receives a grade below “B-” in the Clinical Mental Health Program may be repeated once
- Students may repeat a maximum of two courses, once each
- Students may request remediation for a maximum of two courses, once each. Students may remediate to a maximum of a “B-“
Students must complete and pass their CMHC portfolio. Student portfolios include all Key Assignments assigned throughout the program, the CPCE, and the Thesis Presentation. Students must pass all aspects of the portfolio to complete their degree.
