Endowed Scholarships

Theresa P. Ahlstrom / KPMG Scholarship Fund: Awarded to a student pursuing a degree in accounting, at or above the undergraduate level, who has demonstrated financial need and has an overall accounting cumulative of at least 3.3. 

Kiran and Anil Chaturvedi MBA Leadership Award: Awarded annually at Graduate Class Night to a student graduating from Molloy's MBA Program. The recipient will have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a desire to become an outstanding leader in their chosen business field and has maintained a cumulative index of 3.7.

Barbara H. Hagan Memorial Nursing Scholarship: Awarded to nursing students in the dual degree program, who have demonstrated financial need and where appropriate, consideration may be given to a student continuing their studies to pursue an advanced degree as a nurse practitioner.

Dr. Kathleen Kilkelly Graduate Nursing Fellowship Award: Awarded to a graduate nursing student. To be eligible for this one-time only award, matriculated students must have earned 12 credits in our Master of Science Nursing Program with a minimum 3.5 GPA and submitted a completed FAFSA at studentaid.gov. Recipients are selected by School of Nursing Scholarship Committee.

Jean M. Metallo Edowed Part-Time Education Student Scholarship: Awarded to a part-time student enrolled in undergraduate study to become a classroom teacher or to a part-time graduate student with initial certification, enrolled to earn a Master's degree for continued employment in teaching. The student must maintain a minimum of 6 credits per semester, maintain a cumulative index of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need. The scholarship can only be used for tuition and fees.

Richard T. Murray Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time student(s) who achieved junior level status at Molloy College, majoring in Accounting or as a graduate student in Molloy's MBA program. Student(s) must maintain a 3.0. No person funded by an employer or eligible for funding by an employer can be considered.

Dr. Rose Ann Naughton Memorial Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time nursing student pursuing a master's degree in nursing. The student should be taking at least 9 credits per semester and no less than 6 credits per semester and demonstrates financial need.

NYCB Foundation Nursing Scholarship: Awarded to non-traditional minority nursing students at the advanced baccalaureate or graduate level, who have maintained a cumulative GPA of 2.7.

Jesse R. Radowitz Memorial Scholarship Fund: Established by Jesse's family, this partial tuition scholarship will be awarded to an MBA student in the Division of Business with demonstrated financial need and a strong commitment to community service and philanthropy.

Ilona Varga Graduate Education Scholarship: Awarded to a student pursuing an advanced degree in education who has a cumulative index of 3.0. Must be the first in their immediate family to pursue advanced studies and demonstrate financial need.

Veritas Scholarship: Awarded to a junior, senior, or graduate student who has shown evidence of financial need and is completing their degree at Molloy College. The student must demonstrate leadership through service as reflected in the Molloy College four pillars; community, service, study, and spirituality to the broader community. The student must maintain a cumulative index of at least 3.0.

William J. and Margaret Kirincic O'Brien Scholarship: Awarded to a Graduate Education student, with preference given to a Molloy graduate. The student must have demonstrated financial need and maintain a cumulative index of 3.75 in their graduate studies.

Norina McCarthy Memorial Family Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time student majoring in Education. The student can be fulfilling undergraduate or graduate studies and have demonstrated an active role in community service to the Molloy College or Long Island community at large.

The Edlind Family Scholarship: This scholarship is created in loving memory of Ruth Edlind ’78, Ralph Edlind and Laurence Edlind ’96. Their combined years of service to Molloy College spanned nearly 40 years. This scholarship shall be awarded to a graduate student who has demonstrated unmet financial needs and has maintained a minimum 3.0 grade point average.

Annually Funded Scholarships

Patricia A. Calcado Graduate Business Scholarship: Given annually to a student in the Graduate Business program who has achieved a GPA of 3.0 or higher and has indicated financial need. Applicants must submit an essay. Decisions on recipients are made by the Business Division in consultation with the Calcado family.

Vicky and John Giouroukakis Scholarship: Awarded to an English Education major, in the Graduate or Undergraduate program that has a minimum GPA of 3.75 and has demonstrated commitment to Molloy College and the Dominican ideals of truth, academic excellence, service and openness to diverse world-views.

Dr. Mary Keenan Frawley Scholarship: Awarded to a full-time or optional transfer Molloy College nursing student, focused on a graduate or doctoral degree. The student must maintain a 3.0 and have demonstrated financial need. This scholarship is renewable if criteria is maintained.

Evelyn Selesky Scholarship: Awarded to a student who is accepted into the graduate music therapy program and demonstrates exceptional musicianship.

The Winans Family Scholarship: Awarded to an eligible sophomore or junior majoring in business, accounting, finance, or marketing. Where appropriate, a senior level student who is planning to continue graduate studies in business, finance, accounting, or marketing at Molloy College can be awarded. The student must maintain a GPA of 3.0.
