STA 0920 Sophomore Strategies for Success

This course provides comprehensive support to St. Thomas Aquinas Program students in order to regain good academic standing. Students enrolled in this course will develop self-awareness and the skills necessary to maximize their potential in achieving academic success. Students will become cognizant of their academic strengths and challenges, and will identify patterns in behavior, which will lead to successful course completion. Topics may vary, but often include breaking habits, preparing for exams, creating learning strategies, reflecting on personal strengths and challenges, and recognizing probation policies and procedures. This course is only open to sophomore St. Thomas Aquinas Program students who have a cumulative GPA below 2.0. Pass/Fail. (0 credit hours equivalent.)
