SOC 4220 Applied Sociological Research Methods

(formerly SOC 422; SOC 222; SOC 322)

Introduction to the research skills and theory application necessary to address the problem-solving concerns of human service, institutional, business and government organizations. The course provides firsthand experience in designing, constructing, managing and analyzing data used routinely in the major areas of applied Sociology, such as focus group research, needs assessment, program evaluation and market research.
