PSY 2040 Developmental Psychology

(formerly PSY 204; PSY 150)

This course is intended to increase the student's understanding and awareness of growth and development throughout the lifespan. The course integrates the physical, cognitive, emotional, social and cultural aspects of each stage. It includes a thorough investigation of the major theoretical models of development, with emphasis placed on the unique qualities of each phase. Students taking PSY 2040 should not take PSY 2050 or PSY 2060, as content overlaps.
