ETH 2540 Ethics, Justice and Society

An introduction to philosophical and/or Christian theological conceptions of justice, such as those based on maximizing happiness, a social contract, compassion, and sacred obligation and their application to contemporary social issues, such as income inequality, racial discrimination, human rights and the societal roles of business, religion, civic organizations and government.
