MUSC 330 Music History I

This course addresses the development of Western Music from the early Greek period to the end of the Baroque and introduces major trends and developments in non-western cultures including but not limited to Islamic, Indian, Asian, and African music. Emphasis is placed on musical styles, composers, and representative compositions of each period.
