MUTH 210 Theories in Music Therapy
This course focuses on developing a basic understanding of theories in psychotherapy and how those theories are applied to the field of music therapy. Students will examine and explore theories and techniques of major approaches to psychotherapy in order to begin formulating individual philosophies of approaches to practicing music therapy. Psychological, philosophical, and sociological theories of music and music therapy will be investigated.
