COLL 250 Peer Tutor Training
This course is designed to prepare peer
consultants (tutors) working in the Tutoring &
Learning Center or Writing Center to effectively
facilitate their fellow students' learning.
Students will be introduced to best practices for
tutoring, offered opportunities to role play and
discuss tutoring scenarios, and asked to reflect
on and to think critically about their experiences
with tutoring. 25 hours of documented tutoring are
required.
