COMM 313 Communication in Health Care Organizations

This course provides an in-depth understanding of communication issues, as well as theoretical models, within health care organizations and systems. It also encourages undergraduate students to explore various ways people talk about and negotiate healing, illness, and loss. Finally, this course will teach students how to better navigate social, political, economic, and cultural structures that may be potentially binding within health care organizations and systems.
