ME 351 Controls and Mechatronics

This course introduces the basics of mechatronics and computer control in the design of industrial products and processes. Topics include basic electronics, electromechanical actuators, sensors, microcontroller programming, basic control algorithms, methods for analyzing open loop and closed loop systems. Students will apply the key concepts learned to create a complete functional mechatronic system. This course has a laboratory component.
