Law and Policy

The Public Policy Institute offers a graduate certificate in law and public policy to develop skills in policy analysis and research. This certificate is available to all post-baccalaureate students enrolled in a JU graduate or professional degree program. The certificate requires successful completion of 6-graduate credits in Public Policy and 6 credits from the JU College of Law as outlined below.

PPOL 502, PPOL 541, LAW 723, LAW 724, LAW 735, and LAW 741 have prerequisites. Other graduate or law classes may be counted toward the certificate with the approval of the Director of the Public Policy Institute.
