NUR 640 Clinical Manifestations of Disease Processes and Emerging Therapies
Physiologic adaptation to complex disease processes and emerging therapies will be examined. Students will utilize their existing knowledge of anatomy, physiology, chemistry, microbiology, pathophysiology, and pharmacology to explore the ever-changing science of genetics and genomics and the pathogenesis of a variety of diseases. Heavy emphasis is given to the process of obtaining evidence-based information to support clinical decision making in patient care scenarios.
