MHC 610 Introduction to Play Therapy
This course will provide an overview of current theories of play therapy, focusing on enhancing the counseling relationship with children by using play media to establish facilitative relationships with children under the age of ten years. The course will explore fundamental issues involved in play therapy, including various theoretical approaches, modalities, techniques, and applications of play therapy. Historical, theoretical foundations, and current issues of play therapy are presented in this course.
