IMPD 630 Guided Bone Regeneration Modalities
Guided bone regeneration principles, the use of cellular exclusion membranes, and the indications of use will be taught in this course. Included in this topic will be the specific use of titanium mesh, poly-galactic acid mesh, Polytetrafluoroethylene mesh, and several types of collagen for reconstruction of the alveolar ridge shape. Indications of use, procedural steps, and complication management will be taught.
