CSD 310 S/L in Communication Sciences & Disorders

Students in the Communication Sciences and Disorders program will learn about community issues affecting pre-school and school age children as they relate to communication disorders, drawing upon their service experience to inform discussions and written assignments. Students will collaborate with community based speech language pathologists to design prevention materials for Duval County Public Schools. Additionally, students will use clinical skills to conduct speech, language and hearing screenings for local underserved populations.  Students should have junior or senior standing in the CSD major to enroll in this course.
