ECON 340 Sports Economics

This course uses economic analysis to examine aspects related to professional and amateur sports. Topics include sports leagues, the public finance of stadiums, event sponsorships, monopoly and antitrust issues related to league structure, game theory, and international sports. Cross listed with SPO 301.  Credit cannot be awarded for both ECON 340 and SPO 301. Pre-Requisite: A "C" or better in ECON 201 and ECON 202
