AVM 412 Executive Communication Techniques -Elective

A study of the skills and techniques needed for effective managerial and executive communication concentrating on the subject matter and types of presentations required in the business community. Students will prepare and deliver oral presentations on subjects peculiar to or commonly found in the major field. The student will prepare project summaries, briefing notes, and position papers on which to base their oral deliveries. At least six presentations per student will be required to include a briefing, an informal speech, a project summary, a teaching seminar, a problem solving seminar, and a persuasive presentation comparing several management options. Pre-requisite: BUS 308SI, BUS 308W or BUS 308WI.
